Dieter Mauer founds MionTec with a clear intention: to develop processes, not to sell them.
Independence has characterized the work from the very beginning.
The first laboratory for resin analysis is established at FH Köln. The pilot plant facility grows, while pilot plants are still being built under the garage.
Altenberger Straße becomes the new location. A large resin laboratory is established, and the pilot plant facility grows to 150 square meters. The space at FH Köln has long been insufficient.
Workshop and storage space double. The construction and rental of pilot plants become a central business area in Europe.
The team grows to 21 people. MionTec moves to Ernst-Bloch-Straße – with significantly larger areas for the laboratory, pilot plant facility, and administration.
Expansion of our engineering department by 330 m² in the new administration building.
Over 30 employees, over 2500 square meters of pilot plant facility and laboratory, 750 square meters of office space. MionTec is optimally positioned for future challenges.
MionTec is a family business that has grown – not by chance, but through consistency. Today, we continue what began over 25 years ago: technology with integrity.
What drives us is not abstract market potential, but a personal concern:
we hate bad solutions. Half-baked. Imprecise. Bought trust.
We know what it’s like when you have to convince with solutions where neither the path nor the result is clear. When you’re supposed to develop something new, but have neither the time nor the resources.
We stand by these people. The project manager who ponders at night.
The chemist who is responsible for the result.
The buyer who is looking not for the cheapest investment, but for the most sustainable solution.
