We are delighted: MionTec has been honoured by Wirtschaftsförderung Leverkusen (WFL) with the Unternehmenspreis 2026, making us Company of the Year. The award ceremony on September 22 marked the highlight of the Leverkusen business reception, where numerous guests from business, politics and the city community gathered at the Bayer Casino. The evening was opened by Mayor Stefan Hebbel, WFL Supervisory Board Chair Annegret Bruchhausen-Scholich, and WFL Managing Directors Benjamin Schulz and Christian Zöller.
With this award, WFL recognises how our family-owned company connects scientific research with industrial practice. Since our founding in 1998, we have been developing innovative solutions for water treatment and resource efficiency—from process development in the laboratory, through test and pilot plants, to practical implementation at the customer’s site. Our focus areas include ion exchange, adsorption, nanofiltration and electrodialysis.
This award belongs to our entire team. Without the expertise, passion and inventive spirit of our employees, it would not have been possible. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our customers and partners for their trust, and to Wirtschaftsförderung Leverkusen for this special honour. For us, the award is an incentive to continue developing solutions that have an impact far beyond Leverkusen.
